Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries
The 1 983 Annual Council created Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries (ACM) with a mandate to coordinate placing Adventist chaplains in government and private institutions. Former MINISTRY executive editor B. Russell Holt interviewed Charles D. Martin, director of ACM, and his associate, James H. Harris, both of whom have served with the National Service Organisation at various levels since the 1950s, to find out how the new organization can serve ministers who have an interest in chaplaincy.
