Raising Local Funds
To maintain a sufficient inflow of funds to pay the various expenses of the church is a problem that keeps many a pastor busy. We have a system that we are using quite successfully, which I will attempt to describe briefly.
The Atonement
Any exposition of the atonement that is at all satisfactory must begin with consideration of (1) the nature of God, (2) the nature of sin, and (3) the nature of man.
The Atonement (Concluded)
The conclusion to our series turns to follow the unfolding of the plan of redemption as it is revealed in time.
Making Stronger Adventists
We have all been distressed to see persons come into the church, apparently in good faith, remain a short time, and then drop out. In my own work I have tried in many ways to remedy this situation. The baptismal class has given some help; but it seems as if we need a more extended course of instruction than the usual class of this kind imparts.
