Ministry, International Journal for Pastors, has been published monthly by the Seventh-day Adventist church since 1928. Seventh-day Adventist pastors and ministers around the globe constitute the publication’s main readership although many clergy of other communities of faith also receive the magazine.
Ministry readers are diverse in culture, ethnic origin, professional, educational, and economic background. Most readers are pastors with college and graduate degrees and a commitment to proclaiming the gospel and nurturing those in their care.
As a subscription journal, Ministry's monthly circulation reaches about 18,000 Seventh-day Adventist pastors, church leaders and local church elders. Approximately 50,000 pastors of other denominations receive the journal bi-monthly on a gift subscription basis.
Mission Statement
Ministry is an international professional journal published monthly by the Ministerial Association of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, directed primarily to Adventist pastors and religious professionals and then to clergy of other religious groups on a bimonthly basis.
As with the first issue, so the mission of Ministry remains to deepen spiritual life, develop intellectual strength, and increase pastoral and evangelistic effectiveness of all ministers in the context of the three angels' messages of Revelation 14:6-12.
